InfoEd and Proposal Development

InfoEd's Proposal Development module is currently being phased in to the research community and can only be used to develop NIH-bound proposals at this time.  Researchers will use the grants.gov web portal to develop other Federal proposals requiring electronic submission through the grants.gov system.  Grants.gov also serves as the health center's contingency mechanism for submitting NIH proposals in the event that the InfoEd system should encounter technical difficulties.  In order to use the grants.gov system, users must first install PureEdge/ICS Viewer

  When watching the Proposal Development Training Video:

  • The interactive table of contents will not become functional until the file is 100% downloaded.  This usually takes 4-5 minutes. You can monitor its status by viewing the ticker at the bottom of the video.
  • To view the video in full screen mode, right-click your mouse on the video and select
    Zoom → Full Screen.
