presentation on December 5 combined with “hands-on” computer labs offered
December 4 – 6, 2006.
Description:
The plenary presentation will provide an overview of the electronic submission
process and use of the SF424 (R&R) and agency-specific forms and walk
participants through the submission process. The focus will be on lessons
learned and sharing best practices for submitting applications online. The
presentation is targeted towards research administrators, new and experienced
investigators, post docs, trainees and anyone who will be applying for an NIH
grant electronically. The plenary will provide a question and answer session
with a panel of NIH electronic submission experts.
The computer lab session will provide “hands-on” instruction for NIH electronic
submission of grant applications. Trainers will walk participants through the
process as well as provide tips for avoiding common errors and offer advice from
experience. The emphasis will be on finding and using the correct application
package, following grant application instructions and reviewing the application
prior to submission.
